All marketing and promotional SMS must comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth):

– Each message must clearly identify your business name.
– Marketing SMS must include a functional opt-out method (e.g., “Reply STOP”).
– Proof of consent must be retained by the sender.

Transactional messages such as order confirmations or delivery updates are exempt but must still use approved sender IDs.
